Back in the states…for a little bit.

Why we are back…

Hi friends, it has been a wild few weeks just recently. At the beginning of October, Autumn’s father passed away. We made it back to Michigan later that week, and spent some time Up North with her Mom and Sister.

Where we are…

At this time, we are getting back into the rhythm of life back in the states. We’ve picked up some work, and should be itinerating soon. We also hope to put out new resources soon, for both churches and families.

Where we’ve been…

Although our trip was cut short, we did have a great time in Rome. We made great connections with parents and young adults, along with impacting the kids of ICF Rome.

One cool story we got to hear right before we left, was that one of the older students in the kids class was originally not confident in her english speaking. During the summer, she would come in with her mom to help out, and when speaking to us, she would become more confident in her english. She became so confident that she wanted to start serving in kids as a translator.

We will miss our friends that we made at ICF Rome, but thanks to technology, we can still keep in touch.

Where we are going…

We will be back in the states for a little while, but we hope to be back in Italy within a year. God has been stirring in our hearts to return to Italy, but this time to Milan. We are excited for the next season God has for us, and we will continue to share as time goes on.

Thank you all for your prayers and support during this time of transition. Our time in Rome may be done for now, we are not done doing what God has called us to do. You can still send in support to help us raise our budget for our next time out here.

God Bless and Stay Blessed everyone!

Summer Recap 2021

Well friends, as summer is coming to an end, let’s reflect on what God has done these last few months.

We kicked off summer with Kid’s World Adventure Camp. Kids had fun learning about God’s love with games, crafts, and science experiments – along with Bible stories and times of worship.

There are 2 services every Sunday, ministering to 10-30 kids each week. We take part with other KId’s World leaders, and their Director Joel, teaching kids about who God is and what God says about them.

Lastly, this past weekend we welcomed back Pastor Jen. She is back in Rome, ready to continue God’s call on her life. We look forward to what God has next for ICF Rome.

If you would like to partner with us, you can click here. All donations are processed thru AGWM and are tax-deductible.

Stay Blessed Everyone,

David and Autumn Covello

Group leaders got to lead the kids in time of prayer, leading to kids accepting salvation, learning about God’s call on their life, and plated seeds for being filled with the Holy Spirit.

During the week we get to spend time with some amazing servants of God. Wether it is working in the Church, preparing for Sunday’s service, or going out and exploring, ministry is ongoing and we are filled with the Joy of the Lord.

Update Change

Hello Freinds,

We have not forgotten about you. We appreciate all your prayers, love and support. We are changing our update timing to every 3 months, rather than each month. We will continue to post on social media, as often as we can, but look for our next email update in September.

I do want to provide you with one update. If you haven’t already seen or heard from us, or the AoG network, on June 27th Pastor Rick Pasquale (one of the Lead Pastors of where we are serving) went home to be with Jesus. Although we did not get to spend a long time on the field with him, we did enjoy that time, along with getting to know him over video calls. We also loved and learned from seeing his passion for God, not only in his messages, but in how he lived each day.

Although we [Pastor Jen, ourselves, and the ICF Rome Family] have gone thru this incredible loss, we look to God and He is carrying us thru. We reflect on what scripture says in Psalm 46:1-3, and His other promises to us. We are here in Rome because of God, and we will continue to do His work as He has called us to do.

Thank you again for all your support, and we truly appreciated your prayers these past few months. And remember, we will be sending our next update recapping the last 3 months in September. If you would like to send an encouraging word, you can email us at davidandautumncovello@gmail.com, and if you would like to support us with a one time or monthly gift, you can do so here.

Thank you all again so much, stay blessed.

May Update 2021

Greetings Friends,

We have been in Rome for about a month now, and out of quarantine for the past 2 weeks. We have enjoyed exploring the city of Rome with the Pasquales (the Pastors of ICF Rome), along with other friends we’ve made at the church.

As much as we have enjoyed venturing out, we have also been getting into the groove at ICF Rome and the Kid’s World ministry.

We kicked off the month of May prepping for and participating in the Kid’s World Royal festival. Kids came in learning about different Kings and Queens of the Bible, played games, and most importantly learned about how they are royalty thru Christ.

Now we are preparing for Kid’s Camp next month, which we are really excited for. It has been great getting to know the teams and the families at ICF Rome, we look forward to the next 10 months here in Rome.

Stay Blessed!

April 2021 Update

Greetings from Rome,

Last week we landed in Rome, and now we are starting our second week of quarantine. We look forward to what God has in store for us in the coming weeks.

During our quarantine, we’ve done some cooking but have also enjoyed some local cuisine via delivery.

Our latest meal we enjoyed was carbonara style pizza, pizza with prosciutto and provolone. Then for desert, nutella pizza.

Thank you to everyone who has been praying for us, we had a very safe trip.

We also praised God that all our luggage made it to our destination – on time. We had 10 luggages, and only an hour layover with our connecting flights.

We have enjoyed this time of rest, but in this time we have also been able release a new series.

With this Creation series, we take a look at how each day reflects in the life of Moses (and Joshua).

We are so grateful for all your prayer and support, and we are excited to soon be sharing our adventures after quarantine.

Stay Blessed,

The Covello’s

March Update

Hi Friends,

I wanted to give our prayer partners and supporters an update. Italy has gone into a lockdown for a few weeks, so we have pushed out our flight for another month.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far and please continue to join us in prayer. We know God goes before us, and knows when our feet should touch the soil in Rome.We are looking for the blessings in the delay, that I’m sure will become known as we get closer to leaving.

Stay Blessed everyone.

Getting Closer

Hi Friends,

Autumn and I are finalizing plans to be in Rome Mid-March and we wanted to let you know a few things…

First, we wanted to say thank you to those who have supported us so far and got us where we are. We are now about 80% funded for our first 11 months in Rome.

Second, please continue to keep us in your prayers as we are stepping into this new season.

Third, we want to ask you to please prayerfully consider giving. If you can give a one-time gift, that will be such a blessing. But also, would you prayerfully consider partnering with us on a monthly basis?

Stay blessed everyone

God is Good!!!

With just over $12,000.00 left to be raised, Autumn and I are getting excited to be getting ready to head to Rome, Italy as missionaries. As we finish packing things away, selling what we aren’t keeping, and getting our house ready to sell, we know God is about to do something BIG.

If you would like to support us as missionaries, you can click here.

Stay Blessed Everyone

We’ve added a new series and some other news.

New Series: The Wild Awakening

With this series, your kids will see God and the Holy Spirit Awakening in the hearts of people in events before and after Jesus’ death, resurrection, and ascension.

We have also added craft ideas for Life in the Fast Lane Series.

Lastly, we are working on including parent resources that you can use at home to teach your kids about God and the Bible.

Stay Blessed Everyone

Bible Barnyard Update

We have an update to the Bible Barnyard series. We have a pinterest account where we will display craft suggestions that can be used for each series. You can find the puppet crafts for Bible Barnyard here. Each week the kids can make an animal puppet corresponding with the Bible stories and the kids can use the puppet to act out the Bible story.
