I wanted to share a vision with you that God gave me last year. God showed me a picture of a firecrackers with fuses varying in length. The firecrackers represented kids of all ages, and God was ready to ignite them to show off God’s power and glory. Some fuses were short and some were long, and the length of the fuse represented how close the kids were to God. No matter the length, God still wanted to use them. Then came the sad and upsetting part. I saw adults stepping on the lit fuse, trying to put it out. There are adults in kids lives discouraging them, saying that they were too young to pray, to call for healing or doing anything else. In the vision I saw parents, teachers, and even children’s ministry workers being guilty of this. But remember what scripture says in Jeremiah 1:7 But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ God wants to use kids to do great things. Will you let Him? Let’s be someone who helps shortens the fuse by bringing them closer to God and be an encourager, and not the extinguisher.
Stay Blessed,
